Drone crop spraying in Corona.

Strata UAV flies aerial application and crop mapping across Coronathe old Lemon Capital of the World, where the citrus belt now grows between subdivisions, in Riverside County. From our Carlsbad base we spray citrus & lemons, avocados, and nursery & ornamentals on the groves and fields around Norco, Temescal Valley, and El Cerrito, with even-coverage or variable-rate application flown under FAA Part 137 and a California Qualified Applicator License.

What's left of the Corona–Norco citrus belt grows in tight quarters — grove blocks backed up against subdivisions, Horsetown USA's arenas and trails, and freeway frontage where a ground rig has no room to turn. The T100 treats those parcels block by block, flying a few feet over the canopy with obstacle sensing built for working close to structures. You keep your PCA and supply the product; we bring the aircraft and the licensed pilot.

Local questions

What Corona growers ask us

  • Our grove backs up to houses — can you still spray it?
Usually, yes. We fly low and tight over the canopy with coarse, drift-managed droplets, hold the label's buffer zones, and coordinate any required notice through your PCA and the county agricultural commissioner's office. Close neighbors are a reason to fly precisely — not a reason not to fly.
  • How is a drone different from hiring a helicopter?
Footprint and fit. The T100 flies feet over your trees instead of fifty, puts product only where the RTK flight plan says, and sounds more like a shop fan than an aircraft. For grove blocks measured in single-digit acres, it's also the aerial option that actually pencils.
  • Is a small block even worth flying?
Small blocks are most of our citrus-belt work — the drone made five-acre lemons a normal aerial job. Book a free demo and we'll fly your block so you can see the coverage before you commit to anything.
